27th April – 3rd May 2020
Due to the urgency of Covid-19 relief efforts, we were approached by Celebrity Esports with a highly condensed time frame for delivery. To bring the project from conception to reality as quickly as possible, the project management team worked with in-house creatives and industry-leading technicians in developing the event plan, keeping the client informed and at the heart of every decision.
We maintain strong relationships with a number of global brands and were delighted to bring in both LYNX and BP as event partners. The team worked tirelessly with the brands and client to manage the relationship, agree the assets and ensure the brief was met. This included branding alongside acting liaison for all parties, including talent, PR, and streaming outlets.
Our studio was given a mostly blank canvas for the design of the stream graphics, provided with only the NHS Charities Together Cup logo for colour reference. After creating a range of draft designs for client review and feedback, a graphical suite was selected built upon the NHS blue, with a light, sharp and modern feel. Here's a selection of stream graphics provided to the client for final signoff.
Dartfrog partnered with both Playstation and HyperX to agree the provision of equipment that would enable the event to take place. We worked closely with both suppliers, ensuring the logistics of sending equipment across the UK to celebrities in the middle of a global pandemic. We’d like to thank both brands for their amazing support and assistance during these difficult times.
Our network of broadcast specialists, brought on board at the earliest opportunity, delivered the show on-schedule and with minimal downtime. Our best-in-field broadcast technicians were integrated seamlessly into the Dartfrog production team. With 24 remote PS4 feeds from celebritites across the UK, plus 4 presenter feeds, our team worked dynamically to solve a number of unavoidable home internet issues on the fly with minimal impact to the overall production.
